Name |
My name is Georgiana (This name is of Greek or Italian origin). At least it seems like it, but it's actually my middle name. My first name (*which I never use*) is Catalina. (*means purity in...some language*). I don't really like this name. My dad named me this after a princess in a Romanian poem called: "Luceafarul". The poem is long, and very famous. "Luceafar" in Romanian is a kind of a star. You know, those kind of special stars that are brighter than all the others? Well, in this poem, the "star" is portraied as a sort of being, more like a god. Well, Catalina (in the poem) was a most beautiful princess among the royalty. She would often stare at the sky on clear nights for she had fallen in love with "Luceafarul". (*ah so phony...*). Anyway, when she would be in her room asleep, the star "Lufeafarul" (*portraied as some immortal young man*) would come to her every night in a different form (*sometimes in the form of a human yet made of fire, or water or whatever*) and ask for her hand.
She would always refuse, telling him that she could not leave this place and go up into the heavens with him. She told him that he is not a immortal or a human being and his mortal eyes are cold. So, one day, the "Luceafar" goes to his father and asks him to turn him into a mortal being so he could be sent on Earth so he can be with the one he loves. However, his father tells him to look down, and he asks: "Is it really worth it?" When the "Luceafar" looked down, he saw that the princess (Catalina) had moved on. She had fallen in love with a mortal like herself. Anyway, I don't like this poem. It's so not like me. I would rather coose an immortal god and immortality. (*I'm too ambitious aren't I...*giggle**)

Occupation |
None. Well, I'm actually a Highschool Student. I go to Burnaby South Secondary School. It's a HUGE school, with lots of people (almost 3000), so it's easy to lose your individuality. Luckuly, I've manged to maintain my individuality, since I'm soooo strange... |
Hobbies |
One of my favorite hobbies, ever since I first picked up a pencil, is DRAWING, and anything that has to do with art. Now, my favorite hobby is also website-bulding. |
Sports |
Well, I'm not good at any sport that involves a ball in it. (eg. basketball, volleyball, tennis, socces (*Instead of me chasing the ball, the ball chases me*). But I am good at anything else. Long distance running, gymnastics and Tae-Kwan-Do are my favorite sports.

Hm... I like lots of stuff. When it comes to food, I like Korean, Japanese Chinese and Italian foods. I prefer sushi, spaghetti boloneze, and noodles next to anything in the world. When it comes to Romanian traditioal foods, "sarmalle" are my favorite. I'm an expensive-chocholate eater, and I cannot resist sweets. Hm... what elese do I like? Oh, my favorite painters are Leonardo Da Vinci, Margritte, and Boris Vallejo. I also love anime, reading, writing and Martial art and Secret Agent movies.

Dislikes |
Ah, I don't have many dislikes, but there are some things I can't stand. Bees are one example. I loose my mind whenever I encounter a bee. It's so ironic how I'm a brown belt in Tae-Kwan-Do and I'm afraid of some little creatures ne? Another thing I just CAN'T STAND is McDonalld's!!! I can't stand the food. I only like proper restaurants, preferably Greek, Korean or Japanese restaurants. Any fast-food stuff and I bite someone's heads off. I would sure die if someone asked me out to McDonallds or something like that!!! |

Anything that has to do with art, TaeKwanDo, or Japanese stuff. I'm also a great fanatic of "La Femme Nikita".

Favorite Novells I've Read |
Probably the novell I liked the most was "The Mageborn Traitor" by Melanie Rawn. I like to read Fantasy. I warn you, this novell is about 800 pages long, but worth it. I'm also into classics, and I believe that "Jane Eyre" was the best classic ever written besides the "Emily of New Moon" by Montgomery Burns. Sure, you might think "Emily of New Moon" is such a kid's story. Well, it is, but it's written at a very high level, and it's just beautiful!

Places I've Been to |
Well, Romania first of all, since I was born there. Then I came to Canada. I currently live in Vancouver, but I've also visited Victoria. I've been in America and Visited Las Vegas. What an experience!!! I was just winning at those slots machines, but I was kicked out because I wasn't and still aren't 18 yet. Ah.. too bad. Oh! One place I've been to (and almost wanted to remain there forever) was Australia!!! Just the best place I've ever been to! It's a great place to live. Beautiful landscapes, great people, but a bit isolated from civilization. |
Fantasy |
Well, when I was younger my dream was to go to California (in America) and become an animator. Then, I drempt of becoming a secret agent like Nikita. Crazzzy ne? Now my dream is to be a rich WebMaster and/or Fashion Designer. Right back to art ne? Also, another dream I have is to get Black Belt in TaeKwanDo (more realistic), go to competition, and win a scholarship. Also, I'd want to teach kids TaeKwanDo. Not as a master, but just as an apprentice sort of thing... |
Stuff I'd like to do |
First of all, get a black belt in TaeKwanDo, and also go to a competition. Hopefully, in the end I'll win a scholarship. That way I'd get to go to Simon Frazer University, orelse it's BCIT for me, and after that the Helen Lefeaux school of Fashion Design. I would also want to get awards for my website. Oh, and my main goal: Get a Korean or Japanese boyfriend. One thing I want to do before I die is, to pay $160 and climb on the arch of the "Darling Harbour Bridge" in Sydney Australia. I never got to do that while I was there because it was too expensive and my parents are too stingy when it comes to money. Now, my more realistic dream, is to get that French Version 1990s movie of NIKITA. I heard it's really good, but I haven't been able to find it in any video-rental store. Sad... must be soo old, or too good. Well... I'll find it some day.

History |
I have a very long history!! I was born in Bucharest, Romania. It was Communism at the time, and no one could stand the president Chausescu. My parents left me with my grandparents when I was 5, and they went to Germany to search for a better life. After about 4 and a half years, they got kicked out of Germany (like most immigrants) and so they applied for Canada and got accepted. By the time I was almost 10 I was reunited with my parents. My mom brought me to Canada. Fitting in and learning English was a whole other adventure. I was also supposed to be in grade 4, but I got skipped to grade 5. I wen to Chaffey Burke School. Now I'm in highschool grade 11, and I have made lots of friends, and I speak English perfectly. In fact, my best subject is English. I have 95%, A. I learned English quickley in Elementary school, thanx to a great E.S.L teacher named Mrs. McNelly. I have only recently discovered how much easier grade 11 really is after quitting that torturous high level program called I.B. (International Baccauloreate. I say it stands for International Bacteria.. (*giggle*) |
